We arrived in Eugene at midnight. My idea was to hit an all night diner and drink coffee until morning. Roy remembered that we are no longer 20 years old and booked a motel room in a rather dodgy looking place. He didn't tell me until we arrived and boy was I relieved to be heading to a bed and not a diner!
